The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Teradyne, Inc., North Reading, MA for the following production spare items: •·       Three (3) Spectral Cross Point Matrix (SCPM) 64 Channel matrix module and associated ancillary items •·       Three (3) Ai-760-20 Analog Subsystem 8-channel Digital Multi-Meter (DMM), Digital Oscilloscope (DSO), Multi-Functional Analog and associated cables and ancillary items •·       Six (6) Di-50 DI Series Utility Instrument and associated Utility Module, software licenses, and ancillary items All of the items will need to be delivered by 30 November 2015. It is anticipated that this contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The Navy intends to procure this effort under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." These items and services are offered commercially by Teradyne, Inc. and as the designer and manufacturer, they are the only source with the necessary rights in data to fulfill the Governments requirement. A solicitation is not available for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
