The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Teradyne Corporation, MA for the purpose of procuring the following items on a Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP) basis in support of Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) and Reconfigurable Transportable Consolidated Automated Support Systems (RTCASS) programs to meet current NAVAIR and Fleet requirements.

Twenty-eight (28) Commercial Operations and Support Cost Savings Initiative (COSSI) Kits for the CASS Program (includes a qty. of eighty-four (84) Ai-710 32-Channel Analog Instrumentation Subsystems, twenty-eight (28) Bi-410 BUS Test Instruments, and twenty-eight (28) M996-55 BTI 4 CHANNEL Cable interface Boards (CIBs))

and

Twenty-two (22) Di-50 KITS for RTCASS Program (includes a qty. of one hundred and thirty two (132) 615-175-00 Di-50-22 50 MHZ 64-Channel Cards and CIB Assemblies and twenty-two (22) 615-176-00 Di Series Utility Instruments and CIB Assemblies)

and

Two (2) Ai-760 KITS for RTCASS Program (includes a qty. of two (2) Ai-760-20 High Performance Analog Instrumentation)

NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the necessary rights in data for these items. As the original equipment manufacturer Teradyne is the only known source to have sufficient technical data, including drawings to manufacture these items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available for this procurement.
