The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Teradyne Inc., North Reading, MA for the purpose of procuring the following items on a Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP) basis in support of Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Family of Testers (FOT) programs to meet current NAVAIR and Fleet requirements:

Eight (8) COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS AND SUPPORT COST SAVINGS INITIATIVE (COSSI) KITS (includes a quantity of twenty-four (24) Ai-710 32-Channel Analog Instrumentation Subsystems, eight (8) Bi-410 BUS Test Instruments, and associated software, software licenses, cables and ancillary items.

Fourteen (14) Di-50 KITS (includes a quantity of eighty-four (84) 615-175-00 Di-50-22 50 MHZ 64-Channel Cards and Cable interface adapter (CIB) and fourteen (14) 615-176-00 Di Series Utility Instrument and CIB and associated software, software licenses, cables and ancillary items.

NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the necessary rights in data for these items. As the original equipment manufacturer, Teradyne is the only known source to have sufficient technical data, including drawings to manufacture these items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
