Statement of Work

1.0 BACKGROUND

The Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command requires services for temperament assessment training to support Marine Corps Forces, Camp Lejeune, NC. This requirement consists of performing training utilizing contracted instruction uniquely configured to accomplish the certification of members of 3d Marine Special Operations Battalion in instruction of temperament assessments utilizing Dr. David Keirsey's 4 Lenses temperament model, from July 15, 2015 to July 16, 2015.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

Contractor shall provide (5) personnel from 3d MSOB (a) 2-day training event covering the utilization of the 4 Lenses temperament assessment; (b) the application of the temperament assessment to interpersonal communications and management; (c) facilitation of temperament assessment exercises; (d) certification and licensure of personnel as facilitators/instructors of the 4 Lenses temperament assessment; and (e) ten (10) temperament assessment kits containing ten (10) 4 lenses assessment tools each for a total of (100) 4 Lenses assessment tools. This training shall include all necessary instruction regarding the certification as 4 Lenses temperament facilitators.

3.0 SCOPE OF WORK

3.1 The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, and media required to complete the training objectives.

3.1.1 Program of Instruction: Utilization of the 4 Lenses temperament assessment with practical application exercises, the application of the temperament assessment to interpersonal communications and management of personnel, facilitation of temperament assessment exercises, and certification evaluation, as facilitators/instructors taught within a 2-day course.

3.1.2 Objectives:

The contractor will provide progressive and practical application exercises, communication exercises, and facilitation training scenarios on the following objectives.

• Utilization of the 4 Lenses temperament assessment
• Practical application exercises utilizing temperament assessment
• Application of the temperament assessment to interpersonal communications
• Application to management of personnel
• Communications exercises
• Facilitation of temperament assessments
• Certification evaluation

3.1.3 Personnel requirements:

Contractor shall provide an instructor to student ratio of 1:5.
Contractor will be certified to:

• Administer all licensure evaluations and training for 4 Lenses materials.
• Instruct students in application of 4 Lenses temperament assessments to occupation
• Instruct students in use of 4 Lenses temperament assessments

Contractor will be qualified to:

• Provide applicable instruction on other temperament assessment models (Myers-Briggs, Temperament Intelligence) in support of training objectives.
• Provide interpersonal communications skills in support of training objectives
• Provide organizational management skills in support of training objectives
• Provide practical application exercises in support of training objectives

4.0 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

3d MSOB will provide a classroom with audio/visual capability.

5.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

The contractor shall provide a training program from July 15, 2015 to July 16, 2015 consisting of two (2) days of instruction resulting in the certification and licensure of personnel as 4 Lenses facilitators.

6.0 FACILITIES / GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT

3d MSOB will provide a classroom capable of supporting the students and instructors, with audio/visual equipment, whiteboards, dry erase markers, tables and chairs.

7.0 SAFETY/ CLEAN-UP

3d MSOB will be responsible for safety and turn in of classroom.

8.0 CONTRACTOR FURNISHED EQUIPMENT

Contractor shall provide all handouts, test material, practical exercise material, audio media, visual media, course certification/diplomas, and all other items required for the certification of 4 Lenses facilitators.
