The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a firm fixed price GSA delivery order to Reson, Inc (Teledyne Reson), Goleta, California, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source, to contract for an upgrade for two hydrographic launches (Reson 7125 SV2). Detailed requirements below:

• Qty 2, GSA part # 88010505, shallow water replacement kit (includes kit upgrade, 7125-ROV to 7125 SV2G5+ and receiver, EM7216, 7125/8, 200/400kHz)
• Qty 6, SSA for 7125 SV2 without system backup (extended warranty)

The NAICS Code is 334511-Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing with a Size Standard of 750.

Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing via email to [email protected] on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. If competitive procedures are not used, it is estimated that an award will be issued by August 12, 2013.
