FAR, Subpart 5.204-NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to solicit a single source and award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Mission Rabies USA, Inc (MR) in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) using the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire technical assistance and training support for canine rabies vaccination activities and access to their WVS Collector Application for monitoring mass canine rabies vaccination activity at CDC evaluation project sites in Africa and Asia. MR is uniquely qualified as they have developed propietary application for mobile collection of vaccination activity on the ground with web-based visualization for monitoring mass dog vaccination programs. It also fulfills CDC's strategic imperative of "Customer Centrality." Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a solicitation and proposals are not requested.
