The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to extend the period of performance of the Seaport-e task order N00178-04-D-4027 4Y01 on a non-competitive basis with CDI - M&T, 9550 Regency Square Blvd., Ste 400, Jacksonville FL 32225 for technical and logistics services needed in support of NAVAIR Lakehurst Aircraft Launch & Recovery Equipment (ALRE) programs. The Government intends to extend the above services for a year under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, to ensure that there will not be a break in the services required, while a competitive Seaport-e Task Order is being put in place.

CDI - M&T, is currently supplying the support services for this requirement. It is in the Government's best interest to extend the period of performance to allow for a continuation of services. This will insure there will not be a break in the services and avoid interruption of program support. There is a competitive SEAPORT-e package in process for the NAVAIR ALRE programs support. Only contractors that hold a NAVSEA Seaport-e Multiple Award Contract could submit a proposal for the re-compete. Any responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice.
