The United States Property and Fiscal Office of the Virgin Islands intends to issue a 8(a) Sole Source Blanket Purchase Agreement to Rico Suntours, Inc., 215 Calle Pesante, San Juan, PR 00912, to provide taxi services to Virgin Islands National Guard recruits in Puerto Rico between Luis Munoz International Airport, the Military Entrance Processing Station, and/or the Caribe Hilton Hotel and return.

The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is FAR 19.8.

This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for proposals. Therefore, no solicitation documents exist for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement including costs by 3:00pm EST on Friday, August 12, 2016, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via e-mail transmittal to [email protected] or [email protected]. The determination not to compete the contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
