The Public Works Department has scheduled a Zoom meeting for the opening of bids. Bidders may participate in the public bid opening via Zoom. General work description: The work to be done generally consists of installing prefabricated Trash Treatment Control Devices (TTCD) at three locations in the Tara Hills area. Work includes temporary water diversion and dewatering, roadway and structure excavation, temporary shoring, installation of TTCD units, reconstruction of sidewalk and roadway, and replacing roadway striping. Engineer's cost estimate: $2,050,000 Number of Working Days: 55 You are required to subcontract a minimum of 22% of your bid in accordance with the Mandatory Subcontracting Minimum requirements within these special provisions. A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom to cover project construction and the County’s Bidder Outreach Program. Prospective bidders attendance is recommended but not mandatory.
