he Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to the Pressure Biosciences, Inc., 14 Norfolk Avenue, South Easton, MA 02375, purchase order for Barocycler 2320 Extreme and training. The Pressure Biosciences Inc., and the above equipment was design and built by Pressure Biosciences, Inc. therefore, as manufacturer of the instructment they are only ones wih background experience with system, immediate replacement parts availability, and maintenance/emergency service personnel to assure maximum operational availability of the instrument. The current project project is built on the data base created from the previous projects conducted by his research group. The contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotitate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.30-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capabiity to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. T
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competttive procurement.
