The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced purchase order to Applied Biosystems located at 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA 94404. This is a special notice to determine the availability of potential vendors that can provide the necessary supplies for the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotions Division of Reproductive Health Maternal and Infant Health Branch. These supplies are being procured for an on-going study and Applied Biosystems is the only source that can provide these critical supplies. The supplies to procure will include: 1) 11TaqMan Large scale assays (4351379/4331183) 2) 17 Master Mix (4364340) 3) 1 Pkg 500 96-well plates. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR PART 6.302-1.
