NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Interior, intends to award a sole source purchase order (PO) under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541620- with a SBA size standard of $16.50. Jennifer Frey, Las Cruces, NM 8807-0100 has been determined to be the only source that can fill the needs of this requirement. Jennifer Frey will conduct protocol New Mexico meadow jumping mouse (NMMJM) surveys on Taos Field Office, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) administered land, and to correlate an assessment of current potential habitat and species occurrence, including the assimilation of baseline data at those points, sufficiency of which to support and provide an assessment of status and trend of NMMJM. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price PO with a period of performance of one (1) year and four (4) option years. The Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. BLM has only one known source for this procurement that is in the Government best interest.
