The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to issue a single, Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. This is anticipated to be a sole source award to General Dynamics Mission Systems. The award will be for TACLANE-10G with associated AGILE VLAN/HAIPE Software Licenses which are life cycle refresh to the existing legacy system. The TACLANE and associated software is the only Local Area Network Encryption device tested and approved for federal government use by the National Security Agency (NSA). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334111 Electronic Computer Manufacturing, Size Standard 1250 employees. The proposed is for equipment and software licenses for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate only with General Dynamics Mission Systems. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. All applicable provisions and clauses are in the attached matrix. A Limited Sources Justification is approved and on file. All responses to this notice shall be submitted electronically to [email protected] no later than April 14, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. Late submissions will not be accepted.

This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). Any source capable of providing the service interested in submitting a quote may do so electronically to [email protected].  A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competetive quotation.  A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
