The Navy has a requirement for T45TS retrofit engineering and logistics support. The Navy intends to negotiate and award, to The Boeing Company, the effort to identify and provide engineering and logistics support for aircraft retrofit issues impacting Operational Safety Improvement Program (OSIP) implementation. Boeing is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the T-45 aircraft. As the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and supplier of the T-45 aircraft, it's systems, and the integrator of GFE, only Boeing possesses the proprietary data for the design, engineering and performance details of the aircraft necessary to satisfy the Government's minimum requirements. Such data is required for the successful provision of the required engineering and logistics support. The base effort required is from 01 April 2011 to 31 December 2011. An Option period for engineering and logistics tasks from 01 January 2012 to 31 December 2012 is also required. A Delivery Order under the follow-on Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to N00019-05-G-0026, containing Cost Plus Fixed Fee line items, will be utilized to procure this effort.
