The purpose of this sources sought is to determine the availability and technical capability of vendors in the commercial sector, including small businesses (and the following subsets: HUBZone Small Business concerns, Section 8(a) Small Business concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns, and Woman-Owned Small Business concerns) who have the capability to integrate ADS-B Out functionality into the existing T-44C aircraft avionics systems.

A prior sources sought was posted on April 16 2015 for T-44C ADS-B Out functionality (N00019-15-R-0102). 

The current posting revises this prior sought (N00019-15-R-0102) to incorporate the following changes:  a solution to ADS-B Out not bound by integrations; the integrated Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) approach capability stricken; a USB interface data loader vice a DBU 5010E data loader; and having the potential solutions integrated into the T-44C with minimal impact to the existing avionics systems/real estate.  Additionally, under Part III (Technical Approach) number eleven (11), the wording "Government organic" was revised to "Government", and number twelve (12) was added to include a timeline to complete development and integration.  All these changes are captured in the attached documents with this notice.

Companies that responded to the earlier sources sought (N00019-15-R-0102) and also intend to respond to this new sources sought are encouraged to utilize the content of prior responses to the extent practicable, in order to minimize duplication of effort in submission development.   However, companies are cautioned to take special note of how the information and questions in the new sources sought have changed from the earlier version when developing their capabilities submission.   This new version is a separate sources sought, and any prior submittal under N00019-15-R-0102 will not be evaluated for this sources sought; a new submittal under N00019-16-R-0005 is necessary.
