SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE

This is a Sources Sought Notice only, and NOT a Request for Proposal.
This notice is Unrestricted, and all identified Business are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. The Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Sources Sought Notice is not to be constructed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.

Business must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS code 511130. Fort George G. Meade, Maryland is interested in gaining knowledge of potential Contractors capable of performing the following work:

The Contractor shall publish and deliver a Civilian Enterprise (CE) Unofficial Welcome Guide and Installation Map of Fort George G. Meade. The Fort George G. Meade Installation Unofficial Welcome Guide is a general information resource guide about Fort Meade services, facilities, command history and achievements for transitioning service members and families, civilian personnel, as well as guests and visitors to the installation. Information will include ten (10) editorial sections made up of installation text and photos, local area attractions, telephone directory, fold-out map, and shoppers' guide.

The contractor shall publish and deliver an estimated 18,000 copies of the Unofficial Wecome guide and 30,000 maps during each year of the contract. The contractors place of business shall be within the radius area of 100 miles of Fort Meade, MD.

2. Fort Meade Installation, Area, and Housing Map

A brochure-size map for Fort Meade service members and families along with visitors. Information will include an installation map, housing map and local area map. Cover will match or complement the cover of the guide.

3. CD ROM or DVD copies

The CD ROM or DVD copies will be made of the installation guide and map, to be provided to the Garrison Public Affairs Office.

The Fort George G. Meade Installation will supply or furnish access to information which it believes to be of interest to military and civilian personnel, families, and guests to the installation for publication to the contract vendor.

It is requested that interested parties submit a brief capability statement package, no more than five (5) pages, demonstrating how they are capable of performing the tasks in this requirement. The capability statement should include the following: (1) Name of Vendor; (2) Contact information (address, telephone, facsimile, e-mail, website address); (3) DUNS number, CAGE code, business size and classification; (4) Technical description of ability to meet the requirement, and the capability of performing the above tasks.
