The U.S. Geological Survey, Central Region, Geographic Information Office has a requirement to acquire imagery for the Saint Louis Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) in response to a Department of Defense (DOD) request for high-resolution imagery and geospatial data in support of Homeland Security. A requirement of the imagery is that it be less than two years old. The total cost to the government is one quarter the total cost of data for which the government will receive a license free deliverable to be used in the public domain. The U.S. Geological Survey considers this specified requirement as a sole source to Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, 2350 Market Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63103. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these services at the same cost may submit a capabilities statement to the contracting officer USGS, PO Box 25046 Denver Federal Center, Denver, CO 8025-0046 no later than the closing date of this requirement (08/30/2006) 4:00 PM MST. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist; if no submissions are receivced by the above appointed time, the Government will proceed with noncompetitive award without further notice. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ); the Government does not anticipate issuing a written solicitation.
