ITT Corporation of Seneca Falls, New York (is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for USNS MERCY and USNS COMFORT 500 Ton Air Conditioning Systems and Auxiliary Diesel Generator Salt Water Cooling Pumps. The annual and periodic examinations, service, repairs and testing of all the 500 Ton Air Conditioning Systems and Auxiliary Diesel Generator are required by the U.S. Coast Guard, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Rules and MSC; ISM Code and shall comply with U.S. Federal Requirements.

The specific pumps, parts and materials integrated into the build of the pumps are essential to minimize the corrosion, wear and maintenance costs of the pumps and systems they service. The completion of the repairs are essential to ship and mission readiness.
