This is a re-announcement of Solicitation N6334-19-R-0019.  This  solicitation  is re-announced because of requirement for increased in quantities. 
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, California intends to solicit under Solicitation N63394-19-R-0019 and award on a sole source basis to Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. the procurement of the Oriole solid propellant rocket motors and Oriole Thrust Vector Control (TVC) systems.  This procurement will provide fifty five (55) Oriole Rocket Motor Systems and twenty (20) Oriole TVC Systems.  The NSWC PHD missions require the use of a 21" motor with the performance characteristics of the Oriole motor for range/altitude profiles.  The Oriole Rocket Motor is capable of unguided and guided flight performance.  The unguided configuration of the Oriole Rocket Motor uses a fixed nozzle system, whereas the guided configuration uses a gimbaled nozzle system, referred to as the Oriole TVC system.

 These motors will serve missions at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), NASA Wallops Flight Facility and other test ranges.  There are currently no other comparable motors in production at this time to facilitate the required mission dates for the government.

 NECO Note 22 applies:  The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.  Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
