The 325th Contracting Squadron, Tyndall AFB, Florida intends to purchase Mobile Aircraft Arresting System Trailers. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336413. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Proposals will be requested under a separate solicitation. Any information can be sent to Tyler Busick via email [email protected] and Matthew Crum, Contracting Officer, via email [email protected]. 325 CONS intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price purchase order for the Contract Identification Line Items (CLINs) identified below:
CLIN 0001: (4 Each) Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) Trailer P/N: 9D01164-902
CLIN 0002: (1 Each) Shipping Costs
*Delivery shall be FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination.
Expected Delivery Schedule (including First Article Testing):
Submit FAT: (1 unit) = 180 days
Government Review = 30 days
Production Quantity after Approval (Remaining 3 Units) = 150 days
Total Delivery Timeline= 360 days
All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered.
***Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) is required. Only the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is known to be waived from this requirement, which is Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation (21439-Cage Code). Companies may request a waiver, however only companies who have successfully completed a FAT for this item, and have produced it for the USAF in the last 60 months will be considered. All other companies must complete First Article Testing. If First Article Testing must be accomplished, testing must be coordinated with Mr. Cristopher Peisher, the Aircraft Arresting Systems Engineer, via email [email protected].
