The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to solicit for the following item:

NOUN: Firing Attachment, Blank Ammunition

PART NUMBER: 13020129

ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a government-unique part specifically designed for use with the short barrel configuration of the M240L automatic weapon. It compensates muzzle gasses for the normal cycle of operation of the M240L firing blank cartridges.

UNIT OF ISSUE: Each (EA)

MINIMUM 5-YEAR QUANTITY: 345 EA

MAXIMUM 5-YEAR QUANTITY: 20,700 EA

FAT REQUIRED? Yes

The associated solicitation, W56HZV-20-R-0057, will be issued as a total small business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2. The resulting Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will be five years in length and Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). Contractors should not contact the Contract Specialist seeking the solicitation, as it will not be available for at least 15 days after issuance of this notice. There is a Technical Data Package (TDP) associated with this requirement. Instructions for accessing this documentation will only be made available upon release of the solicitation and not before then.

Solicitation W56HZV-20-R-0057 will be issued electronically, as will any amendments thereto. As a result, the Government is under no obligation and is unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments, and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals, may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of same.
