This is a notice that the 647^th Contracting Squadron, Hickam AFB, Oahu, Hawaii intends to award a Sole Source award to Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. 55 Inverness Drive East Englewood, CO, under the authority if FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposal procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal or a solicitation of offers. The point of contact for this action is SSgt David Moreno. It has been determined that Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. is the only source capable of providing "JetPlanner" a Flight planning software solution requirement. The sole manufacturer has no authorized distributors and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This item/service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 518210. This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply/service as described above and rationale as to why they should be considered. Responses received will be evaluated and considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
