The City of Suwanee seeks Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) with fee proposals, until 3:00 p.m. local time Tuesday, September 8, 2020, for an individual, firm, or team of firms to assist in the Suwanee Pedestrian and Bicycle Loop Study, which includes developing a concept plan and feasibility study for a continuous multi-use path around Suwanee with connections to the Suwanee Greenway, downtown Suwanee, and other regional trails. The study shall analyze potential multi-use path alignments, typical sections, environmental impacts, and cost estimates for constructing the multi-use path and associated pedestrian improvements to connect to the path and examine and develop a crossing plan for Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. Selected consultant shall serve as the lead in implementing the community input process, data collection and developing a study. The project will be complex and will require knowledge of designing pedestrian and bicycle facilities, knowledge of urban design principles, and knowledge of branding. The project is anticipated to take approximately six months to complete. A total of five (5) hard copies and one (1) electronic version of the proposal must be sealed, and mailed or delivered to the attention of Ms. Alyssa Durden, Planning Division Director, at 330 Town Center Avenue, Suwanee, GA 30024. Submittals received after the established deadline will not be considered. No faxed submission will be accepted. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all submittals, waive technicalities and informalities, change scope of work, and amend said Request for Qualifications as desired by the City. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any firm and to select the firm that best meets the City’s needs.
