Maintenance Training must cover the following topics: design, function and maintenance of the body, electrical system, engine, transmission, track system, heating and ventilation system, steering system, and brake system. Operator Training must cover the same topics as Maintenance Training plus driving techniques including recovery/towing (with practical application). Maintenance/Operator Training must be provided by instructor personnel with extensive experience in SUSV operation/maintenance.
