The Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) has been responsible for coordinating and maintaining this coalition of partners including a steering committee, a project subcommittee, contractor and project manager. WERF has assumed the leadership role as the project manager, responsible for managing the administrative aspects associated with the overall project and serving as the central point for contact among the committee members. WERF has facilitated coordination of activities and communication among the main components or committee levels. WERF has experience addressing the science and technology of water quality issues as they impact water resources, the atmosphere, the lands and our quality of life and gives them a unique technical expertise to handle the many complex issues associated with managing this International BMP Database, along with the fact that they are familiar with this on-going project and have extensive experience dealing with research projects of this magnitude. No other organization has developed this specific program to support Best Management Practices development and WERF has the specialized expertise to support, manage and administer this international project. No other organization is capable of providing this service.
A purchase order, issued under FAR Part 13, is anticipated and the total estimated value is not to exceed $60,000.
The intent of this notice is not to request competitive proposals, and any information received from interested parties will only be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm's capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
