The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (PHD NSWC) Port Hueneme, CA intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a Base period plus four (4) twelve (12) month periods to Supply ORDALT/MK kits and incidental engineering services support for the 400Hz and 60Hz Combat System Support Equipment, Air Cooled Solid State Frequency Converter (ACSSFC) IGBT Inverter Module and 28 VDC Power Supply, MK 84 Output Transformer in support of the AEGIS Cruisers and Destroyers Modernization program. The contractor will provided Engineering Design/Development, Engineering/Technical Field Service Support, Depot Support and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), for the MK-84 Solid State Frequency Converter, MK 205 Split-Bus controller (SBC), Fault Isolation Unit (FIU), Maintenance Switch Box (MSB), 60Hz Static Automatic Bus Transfer (SABT), Auxiliary Equipment and kits shown below;

b. ORDALT 81310 (MK84 IGBT Inverter Module & 28 VDC Power Supply)
c. ORDALT 81074 (MK84 Output Transformer)

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 335311 with a Size Standards of 750 employees.

The contractor is L-3 Communications/Power Paragon Inc. (L3/PPI), Anaheim, California. L3/PPI is the Design Agent and sole manufacturer of the ORDALTs, MK 84 and MK 205 kits. L3/PPI, owns and maintains the proprietary data drawing packages, production capability, and system design expertise. The anticipated issuance date for this contract is on, or around, 20 February 2015.
