The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC), Residue Chemistry and Predictive Microbiology Research Unit (RCPM), intends to negotiate solely with Aurora SFC Systems, Inc. in Redwood City, CA, to purchase a Supercritical Fluid Chromatograph. One each of: 1) Aurora SFC Fusion A5 Base Module-Part #A500; 2) High Pressure Flow Cell for Agilent DAD-Part # D004; 3) Passive Splitter for MS/ELSD-Part #D005; 4) Installation of SFC Fusion A5 module –Part # INST-01; 5) SFC Pump Module Trade-in Program Part # TRADE-IN. The Aurora SFC Fusion A5 Base Module system will be used for research purposes to develop new analytical methods for the determination of chemical residues in foods, including chemical agents that threaten food security. Companies with the demonstrated capabilities of providing this instrument must submit a descriptive statement, including descriptive literature, specifically addressing the equipment’s components and availability. The NAICS is 334516. The statement and literature must be submitted to the Contracting Office Address within10 days of publication of this notice (November 28, 2011).
