The work under this project consists of the fabrication, delivery, and installation of wayfinding signage throughout the Sully District in Fairfax County, in accordance with the attached plans and specifications. This proposed signage is intended to direct tourists, visitors, and citizens to take the Sully district Civil War Cycle Tour. The signage will be designed in accordance with the MUTCD with Revision Numbers 1 and 2 incorporated, dated May 2012; and the 2011 edition of the Virginia Supplement to the MUTCD with Revision Number 1 dated September 30, 2013 , and all signs will be installed within right-of-way and Fairfax County Park Authority land, for which all the necessary land rights have been obtained by the county. All signs shall be designed and installed per all applicable standards, including the Virginia Department of Transportation Road and Bridge Specifications, dated 2020, DIVISION VII: Traffic Control Devises, and VDOT Road Design Manual, MUTCD with Revision Numbers 1 and 2incorporated,dated May 2012; and the 2011 edition of the Virginia Supplement to the MUTCD with Revision Number1 dated September 30, 2013. The bidder shall be responsible for adhering to all applicable standards. All necessary permits, including Virginia Department of Transportation Land Use permits shall be the responsibility of the bidder.
