The work under this project consists of the fabrication, delivery, and installation of multiple interpretive markers throughout the Sully District in Fairfax County, in accordance with the attached plans and specifications. This proposed signage is intended to inform tourists, visitors, and citizens about the Sully District Civil War Historic places. The signage will be designed in accordance with MUTCD with Revision Numbers 1 and 2 incorporated, dated May 2012; and the 2011 edition of the Virginia Supplement to the MUTCD with Revision Number 1 dated September 30, 2013, and all signs will be installed within right-of-way and Fairfax County Park Authority land, for which all the necessary land rights have been obtained by the county. All signs shall be designed and installed per all applicable standards, including the Virginia Department of Transportation Road and Bridge Specifications, dated 2020, DIVISION VII: TrafficControl Devises, and VDOT Road Design Manual, MUTCD with Revision Numbers 1 and 2 incorporated, dated May 2012; and the 2011 edition of the Virginia Supplement to the MUTCD with Revision Number1 dated September 30, 2013. The bidder shall be responsible for adhering to all applicable standards. All necessary permits, including Virginia Department of Transportation Land Use permits shall be the responsibility of the bidder.
