PROJECT LOCATION: This Project is located along Sullivan Creek, near Metaline Falls in Pend Oreille County, approximately 100 miles north of Spokane, Washington. The worksite is located between RM 2.9 and 3.2. Access to the worksite will be via Sullivan Lake Road. Upland harvest of trees will occur from the Colville National Forest on FS Road 2200394 approximately 12 miles from the project site. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This Project consists of the following elements of Work: upland harvest of trees from the Colville National Forest including transport; establishing machine access to Sullivan Creek, installing and maintaining temporary erosion control measures, installing and managing stream diversions, installing seven Engineered Log Structures (ELJs), installation of one revetment structure, extension of a guardrail, and surface restoration.
