The scope of this work covers all major grains, oilseeds and products, cotton and fibers. It also aids in our analysis and evaluation of global price and trade patterns. The report gives FAS credible, reliable market information that is generally tightly controlled by a few key foreign governments and trading companies. The extensive experience, expertise, and personal contacts provided by the Informa economics contribute significantly to USDA's analysis and credibility. This action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, and solicited in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Informa Economics currently provides these types of subscriptions. No other organization is known to provide these types of subscriptions. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities regarding this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement by the date specified herein. The period of performance for this effort will be one year. The Government will consider all capabilities statements received by 12pm EST, Monday, August 8, 2011.
