THERE WILL BE A PRESOLICIATION TELEPHONE CONFERENCE HELD ON JANUARY 18, 2013 AT DLA AVIATION RICHMOND AT 10:00 AM EASTERN TIME.  SEE SOLICITATION FOR MORE DETAILS.

The purpose of this acquisition is to establish competitive, multiple award firm-fixed price Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQCs) for a base period of two years and three one-year performance periods that will be re-competed with the awardees.  This solicitation is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. Only small businesses should respond.

There is an initial population of 30 National Item Identification Numbers (NIINs) to be priced on this soliciation as well as an additional 115 NIINs included as an add-on population that will be released as an attachment to the solicitation within the following Federal Supply Classes (FSCs):6150   --  Electrical wire and power and distribution equipment- Cable Assemblies, Electric,Power;5995 -Electrical and electronic equipment, components;NAICS 334419 - Current-carrying wiring device, cable, cord, & wire assemblies: communication equipment.

DLA Aviation plans to award 2-4 contracts that may experience growth beyond the identified initial population of 30 NIINs along with the add on NIINs.  All NIINs are competitive, consumable, non-commercial NIINs coded with Acquisition Method Codes (AMCs) 1 or 2 and Acquisition Method Suffix Codes (AMSC) G.  This initiative covers DLA Direct procurements with shipments to Government supply depots located within the United States. 

The delivery required will be cited in the solicitation. Surge does apply to some of the NIINs. All items are FOB Destination with I/A at destination.

THE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE IS JANUARY 4, 2013 WITH A CLOSING DATE OF FEBURARY 19, 2013.
