Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-17-Q-0092 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation.

This requirement is not set-aside for small business.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to Stratasys, Inc., 7665 Commerce Way, Eden Prairie, MN 55344-2020 for annual maintenance for Stratasys 3-D printing devices (Serial Nos. 5233 (Eden 500V); and 50245 (Connex 500)); and optional annual maintenance for Stratasys 3-D printing devices (Serial Nos. 4341775 (Objet30 Prime); and K10295 (Fortus 450)). The requirement is for Emerald Protection Plans associated with each printer in accordance with the attached Deliverables List and SF18: Request for Quotations documents attached.  Stratasys is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of these 3D Printers. Alternatives were reviewed during market research; however, it was determined that Stratasys is the only vendor authorized to perform the annual maintenance and repair on the Eden, Connex and Fortus 450 printers.

Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12.  The order shall be firm fixed price.  

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).  Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov .
