This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is being posted to satisfy the requirement under the Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement PGI 206.302-1(d).  The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to establish a

Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) on a sole source basis to Stratasys, Inc for a requirement for materials and consumable replacement parts; however, the Government reserves the right to not award any BPA and does not guarantee any order placements.  The resultant BPA award will be a total of five (5) years to include a base year plus four (4) option years.  The Government is obligated only to the extent of the authorized orders made under the BPA. 

Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the government intends to establish a sole source BPA to Stratasys, Inc., 7665 Commerce Way, Eden Prairie, MN 55344-2020, as this vendors materials and consumable replacement parts meet all Government requirements and they must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with the manufacturers existing items already in use by NSWCDD.

This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals.  However, all responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received no later than 12:00 PM (CDT) on 3 June 2016, shall be considered by NSWCDD.  All responses must be submitted to the government point of contact at the email address shown below. 

Responses must be submitted in writing to the procurement specialist, Janelle Tempalski, via email at [email protected] no later than the date and time noted above.  Email should reference Sources Sought N00178-16-R-2045 in the subject line.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
