The City of Charleston (City) is accepting Bid Proposals for construction services for Stormwater Retrofits Project – 32 & 39 Oak Forest Drive and 717 Shelley Road. The purpose of this project is to construct a low landscaped area to provide flooding relief through the use of native plantings and minor excavation. Simple amenities are also being proposed for the project site under separate contract. Work includes the installation of trees, shrubs, ground cover, a pervious path, a geo grid system, and providing 2-year maintenance which may include a temporary or permanent irrigation system, per Construction Drawings, at the City-owned properties 32 Oak Forest Drive (0.16 AC), 39 Oak Forest Drive (0.16 AC) and 717 Shelley Road (0.37 AC) in Charleston, SC. The City will receive submittals until August 14 @ 2:00pm at 2 George Street, Suite 2100, Charleston, SC 29401.
