This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-10-Q-0867 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43; Defense Circular Number 20100927; Air Force Circular 2010-0903. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 332313 and small business size standard 500.

CLIN 0001 - 4 storage bin carts for phase dock.

Description: 4 storage bin carts designed with two compartments for HH-60G engine intakes and three shelves for other assorted components. The cart will be 48" wide and 132" long. At each end are aluminum struts configured for the storage of doors. The shelves are to be covered with UHMW plastic to ease the insertion and extraction of component parts and to protect the parts from damage. The back of the cart is covered with a PVC coated 12 gauge wire mesh used to prevent comonents from falling to the floor while allowing workers vision of the contents. Six "U" shaped rubber lined hangars are mounted on the rear of the cart to facilitate storage of the drive shafts. Construction will be Bosch/Rexroth structural aluminum with die cast aluminum mounting hardware. There will be 4 swivel locking casters.
