This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for Dolese Bros., for use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plan. Only one Supplier, Dolese Bros., can provide ODOT “TYPE A” Stone that passes inspection IAW Section 703.01 of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s 2009 Standard specification for Highway Construction for “Type A” base course. Any purchase order will be awarded under ‘other than full and open competition’ as authorized in FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers.  A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be consider solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
