Project involves approximately 100 L.F. 12-inch diameter water main relay, 120 L.F. 12-inch water main extension, 65 L.F. of 24-inch water main offset alteration, 12-inch diameter butterfly valves, 16-inch diameter gate valve, 20-inch diameter butterfly valves, hydrants and leads, hydrant lead extensions, hydrant relocations, erosion control, asphalt pavement repair, traffic control, and restoration. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Racine Water Utility and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. Bid proposals from Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE), Small Businesses Enterprise (SBA), Service Disabled Veteran and or Veteran-owned Business (SDV/SVB), are encouraged. The Racine Water and Wastewater Utility reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes.
