The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) is seeking sources to provide the Stern 70 indictors. Stern Insect Irradiation Indicators 70 GY, which is a product to detect acceptable levels of irradiation dose to the Mexican Fruit Fly pupae. Companies interested in competing for this requirement must submit a statement of capabilities detailing their ability to meet the below requirements (i.e. able to supply Stern 70 indictors with the estimated quantity needed, etc.), and if providing a technical equivalent, demonstrating that capability.

Responses to the announcement will be used to determine acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition). This announcement does not commit the Government to award of a contract. No contract award may be made based on the responses as this sources sought notice is for informational purposes only.

This will be a firm fixed Purchase Order. All pricing to include any and all costs but not limited to: overhead, general and administrative costs, profit, and transportation.
