SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes. The synopsis does neither constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The 377th Contracting Squadron is seeking expressions of interest having the capability to provide a stereolithography center.

The effort required is to provide a stereolithography center, on-site new user training, and UV finisher at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico 87117. The center shall be able to produce a large volume as well as a range of build styles and integrate digital technology. It should include software that provides optimal operations for integrated system elements through system sequencing and real-time controls and monitoring. The software should also allow builders to prepare files for the system controller software that increases part building flexibility and control of part building. The resin delivery module should measure 650 x 750 x 550 mm (25.6 x 29.5 x 21.65 in); 414 l (109.3 U.S. gal) and be equipped with a removable elevator arm, removable recoater blade and two platforms. The UV finisher shall be equipped with dual-frequency bulbs for part curing, reflective platform turntables to expose top and bottom of parts to UV light, digital timer to track bulb hours used and a built in exhaust port for external venting.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325991, Custom Compounding of Purchased Resin. Firms responding to this announcement must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and should include company name, cage code, point of contact, address and indicate if they are a small business, 8(a) concern, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, or women-owned small business.
