The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Contracting Competency (SEA 02) conducted a Procurement Surveillance Program (PSP) Inspection of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division (NSWC Corona), Corona, California.  As a result, the inspection team identified several deficiencies requiring immediate corrective action and a SATISFACTORY (Provisional) Rating.  Contracts Department, Code CT requires technical, operational, management and acquisition support services.

The government intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed priced contract to Theissen Training Systems, Inc.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Range Systems Department, Code RS32 the Theissen FASIT Stationary Impact Training System for use in a Joint RDT&E effort with NSWC Dahlgren during a training exercise at MCAGCC 29 Palms starting in February,  2015

2.0                BACKGROUND

The NSWC, Corona Division facility at 1999 Fourth St, Norco, CA 92860 has a requirement to provide small arms impact scoring at 29 Palms.  In order to meet this requirement, NSWC COR RS32 requires the components listed in this SOW.
