The FLIR Turrets and associated parts and spares are being procured to maintain PGSS FOBs. The technology being fielded as part of the Persistent Ground Surveillance System (PGSS) is specifically tailored to protect US and Coalition forces by providing the ability to provide surveillance and locate and detect hostile forces that are approaching in the distance, giving US Forces ample time for situational awareness and an effective response.

All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
