DESC: The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base is requesting information for fire retardant stage curtains. This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought) is to determine if the furniture items below are commercially available. The furniture should be brand name or equal of the following items:
CLIN 0001-AA: Manufacture and Delivery of Fire Retardant Stage Curtains IAW Attached SOO for Large Auditorium (Rm 105) (QTY 1 Each)
CLIN 0002-AA: Manufacture and Delivery of Fire Retardant Stage Curtains IAW Attached SOO for Large Auditorium (Rm 111) (QTY 1 Each)
CLIN 0003-AA: Removal of Exsisting Curtains and Installation of New Curtains to Include Valances. (QTY 2 Each)

Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the items the government is seeking. Final responses to this RFI will be due at 2pm, Central Standard Time (CST), on 1 September 14. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice.
