Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Facility intends to award a Sole Source contract to Northrop Grumman Marine Systems. Northrop Grumman Marine Systems owns the proprietary equipment, proprietary drawings and is the only vendor able to provide material used for the repair of a Ship Service Turbine Generator (SSTG) #1 and #2 aboard a Virginia Class Submarine.
This is not a request for proposals. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit. Responses must be submitted in writing no later than the time and dated noted above. Telephone responses and requests will not be received. A determination by the Government to not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
