SYNOPSIS-FBO

PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT PROPOSALS IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS 

The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties that the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Acquisition (AQ) office anticipates issuing a solicitation for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) for the Port of Constanta, Romania.  Services include providing services for vessel loading, vessel discharging, cargo receipt and disposition, cargo washing, cargo staging, transfer of cargo, tallying and checking, and handling of government provided securing material.  Provide physical security, facilities, storage/staging, office supplies and equipment in support of Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) 839th Transportation Battalion at the Port of Constanta, Romania.  The contractor shall provide sufficient qualified labor, gear equipment and materials to fulfill the requirement.

The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 488320.  The period of performance begins 14 December 2020.  USTRANSCOM anticipates issuing an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a five (5) year ordering period of performance from 14 December 2020 through 13 December 2025.
