OVERVIEW: Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued by the Technical College System of Georgia to establish a contract with one qualified supplier who will provide Grounds Maintenance Services to Southern Regional Technical College (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. Southern Regional Technical College is seeking to establish an annual contract with one or more qualified suppliers that will provide Grounds Maintenance Services for their main campus in Thomasville, Georgia and six additional campus locations. The campus locations associated with this contract are located within the following counties: Colquitt, Decatur, Early, Grady, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, Thomas, Tift, Turner, and Worth. The service area associated with this contract is approximately 81 acres of land. The services being required under this contract will include the complete care of all campus grounds including trees, shrubs, groundcovers, seasonal color and perennial areas, mulch areas, lawn areas, meadow areas, asphalt and parking lot areas and any other designated areas to be maintained on each property as further described within the attached Scope of Work document. Bidders must have previous experience providing grounds maintenance services to commercial accounts that are similar in size and scope. Bidders must also have a valid Commercial Pesticide Applicator License. Commercial Lability and Workmans Compensation insurance is required for the life of the contract. MANDATORY PREBID CONFERENCE: Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) will be hosting an onsite Mandatory Prebid Conference on their Tifton Campus at 8:30 a.m. EST on April 13, 2021 to discuss the scope of work associated with this contract. Site Visits for each campus location will take place immediately after the meeting. The meeting will take place in the Conference Center, Room C106 which is located at Southern Regional Technical College, 52 Tech Drive, Tifton, GA 31794.
