This is a notice of intent to award a sole source requirement. The Bureau of Reclamation, Phoenix Area Office, Glendale, Arizona has a Commercial Service requirement for electric utility services for a one year period to Salt River Project (SRP), 1521 North Project Drive, Tempe, AZ 85281. This proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (2) - Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and an RFQ will not be issued, however, the Government will consider all responses received within five (5) days of publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. For this acquisition, North American Industrial Classification System code is 221122 and the Small Business Size Standard is 4 million megawatt hours. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The anticipated award date is on or about October 4, 2012.
