Engineering District 1-0 will retain an Engineering Firm to provide a supplementary construction inspection staff of approximately two (2) TCI inspectors, and one (1) Technical Assistant; duties include construction inspection, documentation, and other services as required for the construction of SR 20-17M and Group 5-201 in Erie County. 2 - TCI must have NECEPT for bituminous paving and PennDOT concrete certification The State Route 20, Section 17M, in Erie County; For the milling and resurfacing with Warm Mix Superpave Asphalt Mixtures, as well as guiderail, drainage, curb ramps, traffic signals, pavement markings, and other miscellaneous construction, Harborcreek Township and Wesletville Borough from approximately 0.3 miles east of the intersection with SR 0430 to approximately 2.4 miles west of the intersection with SR 1004. The Group 5-201, in Erie County; For milling and resurfacing with warm mix Superpave asphalt mixtures, drainage, guide rail, ADA ramp construction, and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for SR 5, Millcreek Township and City of Erie from approximately segment 0400 offset 1080 to approximately segment 0480 offset 0580. Inspection forces will be needed from April 20, 2020 through October 30, 2020, with work on SR20-17M anticipated to take place from April 20, 2020 to September 18, 2020 and work Group 5-201 anticipated to take place from August 3, 2020 to October 30, 2020. Roll-out dates could be different based on actual need. Day and Night time work will be needed on this project.
