The Department will retain an engineering firm to perform preliminary engineering, final design, and services during construction to improve the existing intersection of SR 2004 (Freedom Crider Road) and SR 2006 (Lovi Road). The project is located in New Sewickley Township, Beaver County. The construction scope of work will include roadway widening to construct exclusive left turn lanes, full width milling and resurfacing, traffic signal updates, drainage upgrades, guiderail updates as necessary, ADA curb ramp updates and other miscellaneous construction. This project will serve as a pilot project for PennDOT's new Digital Delivery initiative that will be developing model-based deliverables for construction contracts using the OpenRoads Designer software. This will include full 3D modeling and detailing tools.
