The City of Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department ("Parks") is soliciting for statements of qualifications from interested consulting firms to provide professional architecture/engineer services for this project. The area of work includes a non-motorized trail near Squalicum Creek from Cornwall Avenue to the intersection of Birchwood and Squalicum Way. The area of work may include existing and modified streams, flood plains, wetlands, streets, or associated critical areas. The purpose of this work is to complete the minimum level of design documentation required to provide the city sufficient information to make decisions regarding funding, permitting approach, and scheduling; quantify associated critical area and flood plain impacts and develop mitigation sequencing; submit complete permit documents to the regulatory agencies; develop any element in the project area, which may include bid-ready construction documents, cost estimating, bid support, construction administration and any other services.
